This mechanism allows the chair to imitate the dynamics of the user's body, providing constant support for the back and spine while not restricting freedom of movement when the user is seated. It allows synchronous (simultaneous and proportionate) titling of the seat and backrest than any other comparable mechanism. The user can 'free float' in the chair or lock its backrest and seat in 4 positions. This ensures a consistently comfortable and ergonomic seated position during occupancy. The simultaneous titling of the seat and backrest when in 'free float' reduces creasing of clothes on the user's back. After the locked off mechanism of the backrest and seat is released and the 'free float' option is engaged, a special mechanism protects the user against impact from the backrest, which can occur with traditional mechanisms. The mechanism allows the user to regulate the titling force of the backrest proportionately to his or her weight;
With these inherent qualities the synchronous mechanisms are recommended for long periods of sedentary work and are particularly suited for use at the computer. A line of chairs characterised by exceptional ergonomics. They facilitate 'dynamic sitting' and a healthy posture at work.
